Tin Box theatre company's site-specific promenade performance, Stop the Clocks, will take place in Newman Brothers Coffin Fittings Factory in June. The début performance from this newly formed company, Stop the Clocks is directed by Jo Newman and Jo Gleave.
The first performance piece to take place in the factory, which was closed in 1998, Stop the Clocks takes the audience on an unexpected journey through the site. Come and celebrate with us as we share stories from a life to be remembered.
Stop the Clocks will be performed at Newman Brothers Coffin Fittings Factory from 8th-11th June, performances starting at 5pm, 6.30pm and 8pm.
(Performance Duration: 1hour)
Tickets are FREE but we will be collecting donations after each performance for the Birmingham Conservation Trust, who have taken ownership of the building. You can also donate online: http://www.justgiving.com/birminghamct/donate
THERE IS A LIMITED CAPACITY OF 10 AUDIENCE MEMBERS PER PERFORMANCE SO MAKE SURE YOU BOOK YOUR TICKETS IN ADVANCE!
Please note that the audience will be on their feet for a large duration of the performance, so please wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes. Due to the nature of the building there are no toilets and there is no disabled access.
